Medical Editor's Review:
This app allows users to view ECG recordings in real time, showcasing a wide range of different cardiac abnormalities. It also provides concise explanations of how each abnormality manifests itself in ECG findings. The ability to view these recordings as often as desired makes it a valuable tool for mastering the nuances of ECG interpretation.
- These apps have shown significant improvement since recent updates. They are not intended as standalone tutorials, but rather serve as an extensive library of realistic example cases that illustrate principles of ECG interpretation, ranging from the simplest to the most complex and from the common to the very rare. The recent updates have expanded the app to include basic information on elements of ECG interpretation and cardiac physiology, adding a new layer of depth to an already exceptional collection of apps. Keep up the excellent work!

- I'm a nursing student and our school has poor lecturers, so we are teaching ourselves everything. This app has immensely helped me in my advanced med surg class.
ECG Books is a comprehensive database of ECG abnormalities, providing over 1000 abnormal ECG cases from real patients to illustrate the most important ECG findings. Each book focuses on one specific finding and includes detailed information such as causes, characteristics, signs, diagnosis, and treatment.
The 1000+ abnormal ECG cases are available in two modes: movie mode and report mode.
- Movie Mode: Users can play each case, watching it on a monitor with the beep sound of each heartbeat.
- Report Mode: Users can view cases in 10-second intervals, measure, share, or print them.
The app offers a variety of published books covering different abnormal ECG findings, including atrial fibrillation, PVCs, sinus bradycardia and tachycardia, early repolarization, and more.
Please note that some books may require in-app purchases to access the real patient cases.
This app serves as a well-prepared training tool for ACLS rhythm interpretation and recognition. The developers continue to work on the app and regularly publish new cases for users to download and learn from.
